Thank You!

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario would like to thank parents and members of our school community for your support, patience and understanding during yesterday’s situation in Cornwall. We were able to dismiss all students in all affected schools safely, and in a timely fashion. This would not have been possible without your support.
We would also like to thank our staff. Their approach to the situation was nothing short of exemplary. Everyone worked as a team to ensure that our students were safe, calm and supported throughout the day. We are blessed to have such dedicated and professional individuals who care deeply for their students.

Yesterday’s events demonstrated that as a school board and a community, we are able to react quickly, implement procedures efficiently, and follow through to ensure everyone’s safety. We would like to thank the Cornwall Community Police Service for their quick response, and their ongoing communication throughout the day. We are blessed to have a group of police officers that go above and beyond the call of duty to protect us.

CDSBEO is truly thankful for the community that surrounds us. We will continue to work diligently with all partners to ensure that your children are always safe and protected.
