2022 Catholic Trustee Election Resources
Catholic Trustees play a key leadership role in setting the strategic direction for their local Catholic school board and supporting efforts to enhance academic achievement and well-being of students. That is why educating potential trustee candidates and encouraging civic engagement is so important.
The nomination and campaign period for the next Municipal Election begins on May 2. For those who are interested in learning more about becoming a Catholic School Board Trustee, the following resources are now available. Resources include OCSTA publications and many updated resources from the Ontario Education Services Corporation.
An overview of the role of trustees, how to become a trustee, and how to vote can be found at: Ontario Municipal and School Board Elections. As 2022 candidates provide information, it will be added to the revised website.
All candidates are welcome to submit their profiles to TrusteeCandidateInfo@oesc-cseo.org. Please include your name, school board and ward. Candidates may also include a photo, a brief biography, social media handles, email address and website URL with your profile.
