Honouring Queen Elizabeth II

In keeping with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch in British history, flags at all CDSBEO schools/facilities will be flown at half mast effective immediately. The Queen has remained a fixture in our schools for the last 70 years.

In times of constant and rapid change, the remarkable 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II afforded a dependable and grounding backdrop in the lives of Canadians. She was a beacon of stability, strength, and service. Her passing represents a significant change for our students, staff, and families, and it may affect us all very differently.
