EOHU Summer Immunization Clinics

Through the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA), Ontario’s Ministry of Health requires that children and adolescents who attend a public primary or secondary school in Ontario are immunized against the following designated diseases unless they have a valid exemption:

  • Diphtheria
  • Tetanus
  • Polio
  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Meningococcal Disease
  • Pertussis (whooping cough)
  • Varicella (chickenpox) – for children born in 2010 or later

The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) has opened additional immunization clinics over the summer for children in Grades 7 to 12. Call the EOHU at 613-933-1375 or 1-800-267-7120 to book an appointment.
