2024 YourTV Youth Achievement Awards
We are excited to share the successes of our students at the YourTV Youth Achievement Awards, powered by The Optimist Club of Cornwall, held last Wednesday night at the Civic Complex. This annual event drew about 150 people to a dinner that celebrated the exceptional contributions and achievements of young people in our school communities.
Students were recognized in three main categories: “At My Best,” “Giving Back,” and “Kindness is Cool.” They were celebrated for their achievements in academics, athletics, music, art, writing, and drama, as well as their contributions to important causes, and acts of kindness and heroism.
All category winners and finalists received fantastic prizes, including laptops or tablets, scrolls, and other items. Before leaving the stage, each honouree had the special opportunity to sign the City of Cornwall’s official Book of Recognition, marking their achievement in the community’s history.
Let’s celebrate the remarkable achievements of our CDSBEO students at the 2024 Youth Achievement Awards. Here are the deserving winners and finalists who have made a significant impact in our community through their dedication and excellence.
