Celebrating the 5th Annual Sister Cup
A Night of Hockey and Community Support
The 5th Annual Sister Cup brought together the St. Joseph’s Panthers and Holy Trinity Falcons for an evening filled with exciting hockey, school pride, and community support. Held on December 12th at the Benson Centre, the varsity girls’ hockey game wasn’t just about competition—it was about coming together for a shared cause.
This year’s game raised funds for Maison Baldwin House, a local women’s shelter providing support to women and children in need. Fundraising initiatives included ticket sales, dress-down day contributions, and the popular “Chuck a Puck” contest during intermission. Every dollar raised made an impact for this important cause.
Special thanks to Kenzie Barnes, a CWL representative and alumna, for dropping the ceremonial puck to the team captains to start the game. Congratulations to this year’s champions, St. Joseph’s Panthers! The true success of the night, however, was the incredible teamwork and generosity shown by players, fans, and families who came together to make this event possible.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this amazing evening of sport, spirit, and community support.
