Direction of School Support

Did you know as a property owner in Ontario, you are required to designate your tax support for a school board. You can select which school board to support. As an English Separate School Supporter, you are investing in the future of Catholic education, you are a partner with Catholic education, and you help foster a strong political voice through your elected representative (Trustee).  Even if you have been an English Separate supporter in the past, the designation does not follow you when you relocate. Each time you move, it is essential that you re-declare yourself as a Catholic school supporter.

To update your school support designation, MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) has launched an easy online portal to allow property owners or tenants to designate/change their school support through the online portal. To access the online portal and view or change your school support designation, please visit www.mpac.ca/schoolsupport. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to walk you through the process of viewing and/or updating your school support designation. All you need is your Roll Number, which can be found on your Property Assessment Notice. As a new user, you can call 1-866-296-6722 to register.
