Major Storm Impact

All student transportation is cancelled and CDSBEO schools and offices will be closed for tomorrow, Friday, December 23. Students and staff should remain home. This decision has been made based on the forecasted storm which is predicted to bring a mix of heavy snow, blizzard, freezing rain, and high winds to the region. These conditions have the potential to prevent us from opening schools if they cannot be accessed safely by staff of the school board. While our practice is to keep schools open on inclement weather days, given the expected impact on operations we do not want to put our students, families and staff at risk given the magnitude of the storm predicted.

Please note we will not be moving to remote learning, as technology distribution is impacted.
