The Notre Dame Catholic High School Improv Team competed in the Canadian Improv Games Ottawa Regional Tournament on Thursday, March 23, where they packed the Elmwood Auditorium with fans. The team won their night of play and and moved on to compete on Saturday, March 25, at the Ottawa Regional Tournament finals against Canterbury High School.
The team finished as one of the top three teams in the Ottawa region, earning them a spot in the National Championships which will be held in Ottawa at the National Arts Centre from April 5-8, 2023.
The Canadian Improv Games’ National tournament brings the top 15 teams from across the country to the NAC each spring. With over 150 teams competing, the Canadian Improv Games is considered Canada’s largest high school theatre festival.
We wish the team from Notre Dame CHS the best of luck as they compete on Wednesday, April 5.
