Our Lady of Good Counsel’s Lenten Project for Ryan’s Well Foundation

This Lent, Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School is coming together to support the Ryan’s Well Foundation. To kick off the initiative, students had the opportunity to hear from Ryan Hreljac, founder of the organization, who shared how his journey started in Grade 1, as a CDSBEO student, with a simple goal to help provide clean water to those in need. His story of determination and service left a lasting impression on students and staff alike. 

As part of this project, students will be collecting coins each week to help fund clean water initiatives. This week’s focus is on collecting nickels, and families can also contribute through School Cash Online. Every donation, big or small, will help bring safe drinking water to communities in need. 

Lent is a season of giving, and this project is a wonderful way for students to put their faith into action. We are proud to see the school community embracing this initiative and grateful to Ryan for inspiring us to make a difference.
